Man Wanted For Stealing $235 Worth Of Items From Long Island Store

Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to identify a man who allegedly stole merchandise from a Home Depot in Suffolk County in October.

A man with a goatee, wearing sunglasses, a blue sweatshirt, shorts, and yellow sneakers allegedly stole a mechanics toolset, two Rotozip saws, and a Milwaukee drill from Home Depot on William Floyd Parkway in Shirley.

The alleged theft happened at approximately noon on Monday, Oct. 7. The stolen hardware has an estimated value of approximately $235.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect or the alleged theft, or who has information regarding his whereabouts, has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or texting “SCPD” plus the tip to “CRIMES” (274637).
